BACKGROUND55565 is our first keyboard project designed by AMPi.KB and I, Which we aim to create a budget 65% Keyboard that has some hybrid mounting methods.
FUN FACTThis keyboard called "55565". The name came from how Thai people laughing in letters (555 means hahaha or lol). To be honest, we are just blanking out when comes to name this design so Ampi.Kb just asking his friend to name it for him. He was trying to troll him with this name with how Thai people mistook press 6 while repeatedly typing 5. So, It became 55565 which perfectly combined 555 with 65% Layout.

PROTOTYPEFirst Prototype: The first three prototypes came from a different manufacturer.
Round 1 includes Lilac, Red, Dark grey anodized keyboard.
with Alu plate and 1.5 mm thickness mocking PCB (our actual PCB didn't arrive yet which will be1.6 mm)
For Bottom Mount, We have tested leaf spring flex cut. The typing experience was consistent across the entire board. The sound and feel also are amazing especially, the spacebar area which has a leaf spring and 55565 relief cut.
For O-ring Gasket Mount, We have tested with 3.5 mm Diameter O-ring with the different shore. The alpha's sound and feel were great but between the test typing, we confront a noise from Loosen mocking PCB whose cut is greater than the actual PCB.
