Quality
Color: I don't want anyone feeling like they got a washed-out or muted version of the art when their desk mat arrives. So I have included pictures of the IRL samples in the album, which will be the same as your mat. The small number of color tweaks that have been made were so the pictures matched real life better and not the renders.
Build: Since the thickness is 4mm you don't have to worry about curled edges. Every single sample became flat as soon as it was taken out of the packaging. The stitched edges have very little to no loose threads. I'm very happy with the way these turned out color and build-wise.
Design
The designs are texture-filled and detailed versions of Mars in an old-timey Sci-fi style. I love the look of late 90's space illustrations and took them as inspiration. I was originally only going to do the Martian View, but after seeing a black and white version of it I knew a Blackout View had to be made. This also led to the whiteout and Spacedout Views which all make this design super compatible with tons of desk setups.
