About DSS Profile
Click MORE for more information

DSS was created by Signature Plastics in the 80s to meet the requirements of the (then) new DIN standard for keyboards. It has a spherical top and is lower profile than their SA profile. The top surface resembles DSA.

DSS Lightcycle uses a 1-1-2-3-4-3 sculpt.

To compare DSS to keycap profiles you know, check out Keycaps.info

Note: As SP does not offer spacebars smaller than 6u in the DSS profile, DSA blanks are offered as an alternative in the base, 40s, and spacebar kits.
