Welcome to Metro R2! It's been long requested, and it's ABOUT DAMN TIME we did it already. Let's GO!KITS! same same, but different!While this is most definitely a round two of this colorway, it doesn't come without some reductions (and ENHANCEMENTS!) of the kits you've come to know and love. I wanted to take a determined step towards evolving this set further, and offering more options to customize and truly make it your own. My hope is that in doing so there is plenty that is new for even those that got in on round 1.
I've done my best to outline the differences in kits below:
BASEThe biggest difference here, is the removal of full UK ISO support.
Unfortunately the usage on these kits keeps getting smaller, and it is with a heavy heart that I must bid it adieu and offer a paired down 'coverage' kit.
Other notable adjustments are a reworking of the modifier legends to be uniformly single-line. Minus the "Neph Lock" key, which is... precious to me.
R1 Extras: In round 1, we were able to add a small (but appreciated) extras kit into the main kit. Unfortunately this is not available this round, but most of the caps that were offered can be found in the subsequent kits below
BLOCKSFairly straightforward but with some modernization! Two 3.00 spacebars have been added, and the 1.75 and 1.50 R4 blanks have been removed. 6.00 off center spacebar has also been removed.
SIGNSThe first of the big adjustments! In R1, the signs served dual purpose as novelties for both the standard kit AND the midnight kit. This left it sort of jumbled, and in an awkward spot. Because the kits have all been reworked, we can have the Signs kit stand proud as the icon accent pack it should have always been. You'll also notice some new faces in here!
This kit is meant to accent certain keys on different layouts, and in fitting with the accents in the base, was never intended to provide direct symmetry. With the update, this kit pairs exceptionally well with the signs pack from round 1
COMPACTWe talked about it in R1, I should have done it in R1, I didn't do it in R1, and it could have made it in R1... I'm sorry R1... But HEY! 40's and compact layout kit is HERE!
Had the great pleasure to step into the 40% discord to bring this kit up to this point.
This should hopefully be an answer to a lot of the feedback that has been posted here, and falls within the same cap count as what was provided previously.
My hope is that this kit redeems this set for those that felt put off by the original one, as well as makes strides to change 40s kits to be more in line with what those users actually use.OLD KIT

TURNPIKEIt wouldn't be metro without a modifier kit! Many MANY of you wanted to see Metro realized as a full custom icon-mod set, and now you can! While this is not exhaustive, this kit provides the coverage needed to give most standard layouts the glow up they deserve.
MIDNIGHTMidnight, you are not forgotten! A precious few were able to experience this colorway due to the modifier add-on kit required, and I received LOTS of feedback on it. Available now as a standalone kit, this reworked midnight offering brings in the mono novelties that cramped the R1 signs kit, and the accent arrows from the R1 extras.
All sounds a bit too good to be true doesn't it? And you'd be right... so much fun has to come at a cost.You'll have to give up your numpad to do it.
