InspirationTaking inspiration from 1980s and early 1990s digital car dashboards, particularly GM and Audi, this set attempts to match the color and vibe of these early dashboards.
I am excited that this will be only the second all-new MTNU design, after MTNU Rascals. This set has gone through a lot of changes in its history, mostly to try to get the colors correct, and I think I have gotten it "right" with the color and kitting choices I have made on this set. This set was done in MTNU after trying the colorway in SA, KAT, and DSS because I think the Son of a Doubleshot (SOD) typeface fits best for the vibe I am looking for this set. I originally wanted to run this set without novelties, but the overwhelming preference is to have novelties related to the theme of the set. To this end, I have adapted the standard dashboard indicators (and a few others) from the appropriate NHTSA manuals, in the public domain.
