Continuing hot after the end of the S60 Aluminum Case for HHKB Pro 2, Sho is running another design of his that he has been working on for a while, the HR2.

This time, it is an aluminium case for the Realforce R2. The HR2 is a drop-in replacement case for the Realforce R2, which means that the original plate+pcb combo can be directly installed into the case, unlike a previous IC of his, the SR2, which requires PCB and housing transfers onto the new plate.

The HR2 follows more of a vintage design language, with slopes on both ends, offering a more comfortable typing experience without a wrist rest.

This is a drop-in replacement, which means you just need to extract the internals of your Realforce R2 without taking the PCB and Plate apart, and you can straight away install it into this case using the original screw holes. USB-C daughterboard is included.

The HR2 can support all of the Realforce R2 TKL series of boards, including both the US and JP layouts along with the RGB variant.
