Unikeys Udon and Unikeys Waves Switches
Instead of releasing one new switch, how about releasing two at a time! This time, Unikeys works with BSUN to bring you something different from any previous BSUN releases.
A few highlights about these two switches include:
1. Unikeys X BSUN Waves linear switch is one of BSUN's very few full travel rail bottom-out switches.
2. Both of them come with the Y3X stems same as the Jade Rosales switches
3. Both switches were manufactured using BSUN's newest molds

Waves Linear Switch
Waves switches are manufactured using BSUN's newest mold for a rail bottom-out stem and an improved full POM housing mold. The major improvement made to the housing mold is that they are more precise to reduce any unwanted stem wobble and noises that could occur during a key press. The Waves switch overall has a medium-pitched and medium-volume sound profile. Unlike HMX Snow Crash, another rail bottom-out switch we released recently, the Waves switches are less clacky and fuller sounding.
Udon Linear Switch
The Udon switches is a long pole bottom-out linear switch. Although it has the same Y3X stem as the Waves switches, it feels and sounds completely different; We chose a PA66 plus 30% fiberglass bottom housing and a PC top housing to make it more clacky among some of the recent BSUN releases. The stem and bottom housing combo definitely achieved that; Due to the nature of Y3X, which is a softer and smoother LY/Y3, the Udon switch sounds overall very poppy and full.
Factory Lube
For Waves switches, in order to prevent the lube pooling issue, only the upper section of the stem sliders is lubed with 205g0. Stem legs and the lower section of stem sliders are dry. The lube on the stem sliders will spread evenly after use and become a thin coat that covers the sliders. Springs are lubed with dry film.
For Udon switches, we chose to only lube the stem sliders and legs with a very thin coat of 205g0. Springs are lubed with dry film.
