Red Beans are an excellent source of nutrition, but in some cultures, they are also regarded as symbols of luck and happiness! This design is brought to you by Hifi Fox; "Red Bean" is profound, representing longing and love.
Inspiration
The color scheme follows traditional Chinese colors - Deep red paired with teal. Creamy white is used as an accent, and sapphire blue glitter adds a touch of refinement to the teal.
The theme "Red Bean" is inspired by the famous Tang Dynasty poet Wang Wei's verse:
Red beans grow in southern land, How many branches sprout in Spring? Gather them till full in your hand, This seed most embodies recollections.
Design
Transporting us back to the Tang Dynasty, the clothing, accessories, and various objects of that era speak of its past glory. The colors were vibrant and vivid - crimson, bright yellow, deep purple, and emerald green. Extracting a color palette that awakens the traditional aesthetic sense buried in our blood from this profusion of beauty is no easy task. Ultimately, we boldly chose contrasting colors - red and blue, which are visually striking and showcase traditional luxury. We added cream-colored characters under semi-transparent ABS, allowing the underlying pale yellow color to show through the ABS, making the colors between red and blue softer and harmonious.
The semi-transparent material allows for color gradients and serves as a medium to convey the design concept. Starting with exuberance on the surface and ending with depth in the core, emotions settle with time, and the state of mind becomes clear. In this continuous emotion called "yearning", changes gradually occur in the heart, perhaps spiritual growth or the fading of hopes. We intend to represent this change in the design through color gradients and differences in material transparency.
For the novelties, Hifi Fox wants them all to be represented, but the quantities are limited. Millennia of accumulation, scenes in poetry, objects in paintings, all are gifts from our predecessors, picked up effortlessly, allowing "the later generation to enjoy the fruits."
