Hello everyone, I'm a huge fan of vintage keyboards, IBM SSK is very popular in the keyboard community. I always want to make a MX compatible SSK.
Original SSK uses curved plate but MX switches always uses flat plate. Each rows need to have different angles. It also need to use a curved PCB to make it work.
I have no idea how to make it work at first. After a lot of research, I find IBM 5576 plate spring keyboard uses a very thin PCB and a curved plate.
Inspired by that, I tried different thickness of PCB. As a result, 0.6mm PCB works.
However, 0.6mm PCB can't use PCB-mount Stabs, so I use Plate-mount Stabs instead.
