To start, a bit about me and what my goals are.
I am a soldier in the US Army, stationed in Korea. That being said, shipping times may be excruciating, but shipping costs will remain at CONUS pricing, with the potential for cheap Asian shipping as well. My biggest goal in all of this is transparency. Please keep that in mind. The Army may take me away at a moment's notice for weeks on end. If I disappear, I swear it's not my fault, and I will be back. I will always do everything I can to keep you guys informed, even if I have no new information for you. I will update this thread at a minimum of once per week, and I want you to PM me and email me at
[email protected] if I am remiss in my duties.
I am not doing this GB for profit. Period. I will be charging some extra on top of each order. 2 or 3 dollars, to cover in case shipping runs high, and to order a couple extra sets. These sets are not for me, they will be auctioned off after the GB is complete. My plan is to have three extra sets after all is said and done, and hold three auctions. One you will be bidding on the keycap set for yourself, the second you will be bidding on it for someone of your choosing, and the third, bidding on for someone of my choosing (Someone who doesn't have the funds to get their own, and who is notably lacking in the keycap world. Their name will be chosen and revealed before the auction). All proceeds to these auctions will be going to GH. One again. I will be taking no profit from this GB. At every step, I will tell you how much we've raised, how much each item costs, how much shipping is coming to. There will be no hidden numbers.

Now, on to the good stuff. For those who aren't familiar, SA profile is a classic. It's a high-profile keyset, with spherical depressions. The color scheme was chosen by popular vote in the IC subforum and is something I think most people can agree on as being different, but not outrageous.

I would rather us shoot for it, and cancel if it's too high, over having everyone holding back and we don't get our numbers because people are hesitant.
