The Secret 65% keyboard by WPJ x KeybayTech
Intro Hello everyone! This is Chester from KeybayTech after launching our W70 we asked ourselves how can we capture people's imaginations in a different way? Then we flipped the question: What if it's not just about what we show but also what's hidden? so we are thinking most people have two sides. One for the world and one for ourselves This is where THE SECRET was born - From the duality in all of us: Surface and Soul.
The Weight Design
The inspiration for the weight design comes from the desert. It all began after I watched Dune, an epic masterpiece. The film's architecture - both oppressive and awe-inspiring together with its mysterious and retro atmosphere, left a powerful impression on me. What captivated me most was the desert itself. In this vast expanse, every living being feels insignificantly small, evoking a sense of purity and solitude.
This seemingly time-forgotten desert - tranquil yet perilous - became the core inspiration for my design. The desert motif in the center of the weight was the first element I decided on. For the rest of the weight, I aimed to keep things understated, allowing the central theme to stand out.
Over the course of several months I experimented with many different concepts, but none of them fully captured the feeling I wanted to express. Unitil I came up with the spiral pattern - it felt like flowing sand, pulling everything around it inward. I moved the circular element to the center of the weight, aloowing the weight to extend across the entire surface and added a sloped edge around it to create more depth and dimension.
Originally, the design was meant to end there. But then we realized that the circular shape in the middle could also represent the sun because the desert isn't only about dangerous whirlpools, but also the scorching sunlight. That gave me a new idea. In the end, shifting sands and sunlight, vortexes and rays, came together revealed on the front and back of the weight.
In fact, the desert and sunlight symbolize fear and hope and from that comes another layer of meaning I wanted to express Humans are inherently dual natured. In life, we experience both joy and sorrow happiness and hardship are inseparable. Perhaps that's why we tend to keep our fears to ourselves while sharing our smiles and warmth with our family and friends.
And that - is THE SECRET we have always kept deep within our hearts.
There is more than two sides to it We didn't just prepare dual-sided weights - we also have a variety of color options. It's all up to you.
Enhanced Anodization, brighter colors The Secret is using a new anodization process that runs quite a bit longer uses refined colors, and is more expensive, to lock in richer and more vivid finishes while significantly improving surface durability. The result: Aluminum that holds its color better over time and looks noticeably brighter in person.
