What is this?The wasdat is a
drop-in replacement controller board designed for the WASD V2 TKL & 104-key models which can be installed
without soldering.
It's fully programmable using QMK Firmware and programming is easy. I have tested prototypes and they fully work for ANSI and ISO models.
All wasdats come preflashed with the QMK DFU bootloader, which means the capslock led flashes and you can escape using the ESC key.
It also has the stock keymap with FN key.
No soldering is required as everything, including the pin header, is presoldered. The PCBs will be green like the picture.
Please note:This controller is designed and confirmed to be working with the WASD V2 only, NOT the WASD CODE!
There will be a group buy for the CODE TKL & 104-key controller later on.
By installing this controller in your keyboard you are possibly voiding your warranty. Use at your own risk.

Installation/use- Make sure all dip switches are in the 'off' position.
- Remove the single screw on the bottom behind the warranty void sticker.
- Open the case using a pry tool. There are four tabs on the bottom and top, two on each side.
- Take out the original controller.
- Insert the wasdat, make sure to insert the pins correctly.
- Close the case and put the screw back.
- Read up on the QMK Documentation and get going!
TimelineThe group buy runs from today to next month, 25th of December.
The group buy has been extended because of the 104-key compatibility, so the 2nd of January is the new end date.
