What?This is UKKeycaps' group buy #2 for Tai Hao PBT Range in ISO-UK + ANSI Keys + Miami Blanks
* Material = PBT
* Profile = OEM

- Miami (Light Blue & Pink)

Layout? The keysets will be a full ISO-UK layout with ANSI keys additional, so can be used on either keyboard layout
Non-standard keys are available in a pack as an optional extra, these packs include:
* 1x 7u spacebar
* 1x stepped caps lock (off-centre stem)
* 1x 1.75u shift
* 2* 1.5u control
* 2* 1.5u Alt
* 3* 1u blank bottom row keys
The Miami blank keyset includes the non-standard keys in the price as these are linked the MOQ of the main blank keysets
Where? This is a UK based group-buy with the UK in mind, shipping is free to the UK and available at a fair price to the EU, Russia, the US, Australia etc.
When/how long? The group-buy will run for 4 weeks and will end on the 28th of September at 11:30pm. The lead time will be around 1.5 months, hopefully less.
How much?The price for one keyset (full ISO layout + ANSI keys + ring keypuller + wire keypuller + bonus keys) is
£34 - This will rise to £38 after 2 weeks
Non-standard key packs will be
£4.50 - This will rise to £6 after 2 weeks
Blank Miami keysets at
£38.50 as they include the non-standard keyset - This will rise to £44 after 2 weeks
Shipping is free to UK buyers, shipping to all other countries is
£10,
What is the MOQ / What if MOQ is not reached? The MOQ for the double-shot PBT keycaps is linked between colour types, for all the double-shot keycaps the MOQ will be
60. So for example this could be 30 Miami's, 20 Bumblebees and 10 Blood Red's.
The MOQ for blanks is seperate to the doubleshots and will be
30 As the double-shot and blank keysets are independant of each other one can go ahead if the other does not reach MOQ.
If MOQ is not reached you will be issued a full refund the date the GB ends

UPDATE #15 days and 35/60 sets purchased! Thanks to everyone who has joined so far. Still plenty of time to go for those on the fence
Only 1 blank miami set purchased so far though, no fear, if the MOQ for those sets is not reached, those buyers will be refunded in full
UPDATE #2Being a new business, created and run by a single recent graduate I am still learning and working out the kinks of running UKKeycaps. Unfortunately I did not account for VAT charges in my initial calculation for the prices. This is a rookie error I know
Those who have already purchased will get their keysets for the price they paid. To cover the VAT the prices for a keyset will rise by £4 after the 2nd week of the group-buy (14/09/15) see the 'How Much' section for more info. So you still have a chance to get the keysets at the cheaper price.
This mid-GB price change will not happen again, I have definitely learnt my lesson :O
UPDATE #3 (15/09/15)13 days to go and only 5 more doubleshot sets needed! I have posted another thread to /r/MK and will post a couple more there and on mech market before the GB is over. I am pretty confident that MOQ will be hit easily for the doubleshot sets!
UPDATE #4 (18/09/15) MOQ has been reached! This GB will definitely be going ahead! - 10 days remaining and then it will 'soft close' and the order will be made with Tai Hao. Soft close meaning the left over sets will be still for sale. Miami is very popular so there may not be any left overs! Act now if you want a Miami set!
UPDATE #5 (23/09/15)All blank set purchases have been refunded! The MOQ for blank Miami sets was looking like it wasn't going to be reached (not even close
) so I have refunded all 5 of you who purchased one. I have done this before the GB ends to give you a chance to purchase a double-shot set. Those of you who bought a doubleshot set AND a blank Miami set have been refunded for the blank Miami set only

UPDATE #6 (28/09/15)
The group-buy has now soft-closed! The product page currently displays 'coming soon' as I don't want any orders being placed before my order being received by Tai Hao and thus changing the numbers. Leftover keysets will be available after I have placed the order!. I will update once I have finalised the order and have been given an estimated lead time by Tai Hao!
UPDATE #7 (01/10/15)
I have made the order with Tai Hao and now the GB product page is open again and accepting orders for the leftover sets! Tai Hao have given me a estimated ship date of the end of October. I will update when I know a more exact date.

I am hoping the keysets will be shipped from Taiwan soon, I will hopefully hear back from Tai Hao's representative on a more certain/accurate date soon

I heard back from Tai Hao, the keysets will be shipped from Taiwan on the 1st of November at the very latest, given that they will take 1 week to arrive, and then another week to get to you, they will be at your house at the very latest on the 15th of Novermber if you're in the UK. This is later than I hoped but what's a group-buy without a small delay?
